EDUCATION
• LL.B. from the University of São Paulo (USP), 1979;
• Postgraduate courses in Civil Procedure at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP);
• Postgraduate specialisation in Consumer Law at the University of São Paulo (USP), with credits in the graduate programme concentrating on Civil Procedure, under the supervision of Professor Celso Neves.
LEGAL CAREER
• Joined the São Paulo judiciary in 1982 as Substitute Circuit Judge in the district of Ribeirão Preto, and was promoted in the following years to Judge of the district of Cerqueira César, then a single-court district, and of the district of Mairiporã, where he sat as Presiding Judge of the 2nd Court and served as Director of the Courthouse;
• Promoted to the São Paulo district as Assistant Judge of the Capital and assigned to the João Mendes Courthouse, sitting for most of that period at the 30th Civil Court;
• Promoted to Presiding Judge of the São Paulo district, taking the bench of the 27th Civil Court of the João Mendes Central Courthouse, where he remained until his transfer to the position of Substitute Appellate Judge in the Public Law Division, and until his promotion to Judge of the Criminal Court of Appeals of the State of São Paulo in 2004;
• At that court he sat in the 15th Criminal Law Chamber, which he presided over until the court was merged into the Court of Appeals of the State of São Paulo in 2005, when he became an Appellate Justice of the Court of Appeals, sitting in the 2nd Public Law Chamber, which he also presided over;
• Sat on the Special Environmental Chamber, first as an alternate and later as a full member. At his own request, he transferred to the 7th Private Law Chamber of the same court, from which he retired on length of service;
• After the mandatory cooling-off period, he founded the law firm Bonora Peinado Sociedade de Advogados together with his son, Guilherme Kablukow Bonora Peinado, where he has practised as a consultant since March 2015.

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS
• During his judicial career he carried out other activities permitted by the National Judiciary Organic Act, taking part in the work of APAMAGIS (the São Paulo Association of Judges) as Adviser to the Presidency and later, on several occasions, as Department Director; he still serves that association as Director for JUSPREV, the supplementary pension programme for the judiciary, the public prosecution service and civil servants;
• At JUSPREV he served as a member of the Audit Committee and currently holds a seat on the Deliberative Council;
• He was also active in the Brazilian Association of Judges, where he served as Adviser to the Presidency and Department Director, and sat on the committee monitoring the drafting of the Code of Civil Procedure;
• He also took part in MAGISCRED, the savings and mutual credit cooperative of the judges of the State of São Paulo, serving as Audit Committee member, Finance Director and Chair of the Board;
• He has taken part in numerous seminars and conferences, both as a speaker and as a panellist, and has co-authored a number of published works.
